Acro

Acro Dance is a combination of dance and gymnastics, gaining immense popularity thanks to the famous Cirque du Soleil. The style encourages the development of flexibility and strength, while learning acrobatic and gymnastic skills. Students will work on techniques such as handstands, elbow stands, chest stands, cartwheels, walkovers, handsprings and aerials in a fun, safe environment. It is highly recommended that a Jazz class is taken to supplement Acro Dance class.

CDM Dance & Music is an Acrobatic Arts Certified School, created by a successful studio owner with decades of experience. Acrobatic Arts runs training and certification courses for dance teachers in the art of Acro Dance. The program is based on safe and effective progressions with proven results in five divisions of Acro Dance – flexibility, strength, balancing, limbering and tumbling. Developed with input from professionals and experts in Ballet, Modern Dance, Jazz, contortion, artistic gymnastics, rhythmic gymnastics, sport acrobatics, yoga, acro yoga, pilates, physiotherapy, hand balancing and more, parents will not find a more comprehensive program.
