In our Movers Program, we highly recommend dancers to take two classes per week.
For children aged 6-7 years old, attending dance classes can be a positive experience that offers many benefits. Although some children may feel hesitant about trying new things, repetition and consistency can help them learn new dance skills effectively.
Attending more than one class per week can reinforce good habits and increase familiarity with the studio and teacher. This exposure to the class environment can also prepare children for future classroom settings and help them understand the classroom expectations sooner.
Moreover, dance classes offer an opportunity for children to develop social skills such as sharing space, taking turns, and watching others learn. These skills are integrated into all dance curricula at CDM, and children often make friends in class. By attending dance classes multiple times a week, children can enjoy the social aspect of dancing and see their friends more often.
Our Fall School Year Season runs from September 10, 2023 to June 15, 2024 and culminates with a year-end recital. Payment can be made in full for the year or in 3 installments.
Late start students may register at anytime throughout the year. Tuition fees will be prorated for classes missed by our Registration Portal. However, the opportunity to perform in the year end recital may not be an option after March.
We recommend 1 to 2 classes per week.
