In our Primary Program, we highly recommend dancers to take two classes per week.
Although sometimes intimidated to try new things, dancers at this age respond well to repetition and consistency when learning a new skill like dance. By attending more than one class a week it reinforces the positive habit and increases familiarity of the studio space and teacher depending.
Whether classes are on different days of the week, or on the same day; consistent exposure to the class environment prepares them for the classroom setting in the future. And dancers will become accustomed to the classroom expectations sooner than others. So why not lead your child in that direction?
The social aspect of dance classes is also very important between ages 4-7yrs. Integrated into all dance curricula at CDM is the opportunity to learn how to share the space, take turns, and watch each other learn. Dancers often make many friends and they love to see them multiple times throughout the week!
Our Fall School Year Season runs from September 10, 2023 to June 15, 2024 and culminates with a year-end recital. Payment can be made in full for the year or in 3 installments.
Late start students may register at anytime throughout the year. Tuition fees will be prorated for classes missed by our Registration Portal. However, the opportunity to perform in the year end recital may not be an option after March.
We recommend 1 to 2 classes per week.
